Case 02 · Content Operations

The system behind Juniper's digital product marketing.

A repeatable way to turn technical product information into approved content that many people can produce.

Juniper's product systems can each have more than 1,000 possible configurations. I built a process that turns that complexity into one approved product story, then adapts it by audience, channel, and contributor.

Three installation types in one product system, merchandised from a single approved source — each page built on the same positioning, specification logic, and configurator structure.

01 / One source of truth

Turn product complexity into one approved source before creative begins.

Before any creative work starts, I reconcile the technical inputs from Product, Engineering, and Sales, flag gaps, and set one approved story for everyone downstream.

Product / engineering inputs → Technical validation → Audience + positioning → Message hierarchy → Master Copy → Channel execution

01Direction
Launch Strategy
What is the business opportunity? Who is the audience? What should lead? How should the product be positioned?
02Approved language
Master Copy
What are the approved product facts, positioning language, message modules, and audience priorities that downstream teams should use?
03Customer-facing
Final System Guide
See how the approved strategy and Master Copy were translated into a production-ready customer and specification resource.

02 / Adapting the message

The product facts stay the same. The emphasis changes.

Each audience gets the version that answers the decision in front of them. Each channel carries a different depth, from discovery on social to full specification on the website.

03 / Scalable handoff

The system has to survive handoff.

I documented the strategy, messaging, and creative direction so internal teams and external partners could execute consistently without rebuilding the brief for every deliverable. After repeating the process across launches, I turned it into SOPs and work instructions.

04 / Optimization & results

Customer questions shape the next revision.

Signal
Customers and Sales kept asking which installation method fit a given surface.
Change
I simplified the installation logic into clear graphics at the point of decision.
Outcome
Customers could identify the right mounting condition earlier, with less need to read technical drawings or call Sales.
